| - I left a review earlier on, but Yelp's software decided it didn't 'pop' enough for a 5 star review and placed it on the back burner. Let's see if this one rates as high on the list.
This Is It Furniture in Champaign, IL had just closed a few minutes before we arrived. I live a little over an hour away and was completely disappointed we didn't make it there in time. After peering through the windows at their selection, a few of the guys walked up and allowed us an opportunity to walk through and provided us with some details on how This Is It might be able to help me. I didn't buy anything that afternoon, but decided to return shortly thereafter.
The best things about This Is It Furniture?
1) Customer Service - I originally spoke with John. Who was more than happy to answer any and all questions I had about their products and pricing. He's a great guy and made me feel as though he really cared about my patronage. Great guy overall - personality, attitude and helpfulness. He rated a High 5 on my customer scale.
2) Merchandise - This Is It Furniture's selection is rather impressive. The store may not have a fancy waterfall like one of their competitors, but the store has a little of everything you might be looking for in the way of furnishing your rooms and the showroom is clean. Know what else that means? Low overhead means better pricing! What more could a customer ask for?
3) Special Order - Customers who like an item at one of This Is It Stores competitors should really stop in and talk to the guys here. I loved Ashley's furniture, but thought their prices were a little steep. I was able to talk to John and saved myself some money with This Is It AND I was able to purchase the same exact furniture. No kidding! Bed, dresser, night stand, sofa, love seat, recliner and two end tables.
4) Financing - This Is It has financing available. I was in and out in no time. 12 months, no interest.
5)Gimmicks free - Sure, their branding has the free onion...BUT, when it comes to service, they were there providing me with information and giving me their best prices right of the bat. What you see is what you get!
6) Friendly Help - I've heard about Big Mike and from what I hear a great guy all around. I didn't have the opportunity to meet him during my trips in to This is It; however, any of the guys there are nothing short of friendly and helpful. Walk in and I guarantee you'll feel right at home with their help. Maybe on my next visit the Big guy will be there!
If this isn't enough to make Yelp see what makes for a good review - well, can't say I didn't try!
This is It Furniture is the "IT" place to go for all your home furnishing needs! You won't be disappointed!
