I do not recommend Dr. Roger Briggs. I encountered many of the issues Mathew in the review below did. I had been going to Dr. Briggs for about 2 years and just mainly had cleanings and maybe one filling. I found an issue shortly after my most recent cleaning and checkup that he failed to bring to my attention. I had x-rays done and everything. To me, this is negligent and could have turned into a much larger and more costly problem. Maybe that is what he was hoping for. I care about my teeth and am all about preventative care. I made an appointment for him to look at the issue he missed. I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes after my appointment time without any acknowledgement from anyone that they were running late. I would have much rather them called me ahead of time to let me know they were running behind since I had to leave work for the appointment. Dr. Briggs did not care that I had to wait so long, but instead told me that he has a lot of out of town patients and was basically saying they are more important. Once the appointment began, he did not like that I was asking questions and did not care that he missed the small hole in my tooth. I am assuming a piece of my filling chipped off, but I couldn't get any answers or insight on that. I asked why it wasn't brought to my attention when I was just there, but couldn't get an answer on that either. Instead, he just said that it seems like I have lost faith in him so I should find another dentist. Over the course of my two year treatment I found myself doing a lot of my own research and bringing concerns up to him, instead of the other way around. I also had issues with them telling me insurance covered things such as a mouth guard, but found out after it was all said and done, they did not so I had to come up with the money for it. Perhaps Dr. Briggs is worn out and needs to retire. I would pass on this Dentist if I was you.
