  • I actually came across this place while on the road going home. We were stuck in traffic right in front of this bldg complex when my mom was asking if there was any other bakeries out here (they just moved here to Vegas from Hawaii btw). I saw the store name so I pulled into the parking lot real quick since it was traffic anyway. I, myself can never find good bakeries here in Vegas w/ GOOD pastries like we do in Hawaii. It's mostly pies, or donuts or stuff like that here in Vegas. Don't get me wrong, I love me my donuts & stuff but it can never top some awesome pastries that I've had living in Hawaii. Anyhow, this bakery had some good looking pastries & breads. The place smelled so good too. They had those hot dog in the bread type pastry to ham & scallions w/ some mayo type sauce on it (which was good btw), or even loaves of bread w/ all kinds of flavors such as pineapples or cheese. We bought the butter white bread & it was super duper soft. Yummy too! They had some cake slices which we noticed AFTER we paid & those looked so good as well. Maybe next time. They also sell whole cakes & some cookies. My mom knows I review places & she asked me to mention something about this place. Sorry, but it's not good people. O_O We bought a few of the hot dog in the bun pastries & she mentioned to it to me that when she was about to eat one, she was wondering why one side of the bun seemed lighter than the other side. My mom is such a cautious type of person. She analyzes everything!!! She's a clean freak I may add. Anyways... she said before she took a bite of it, she cut it in half instead. She said 1/2 the hot dog was missing & it seemed as though someone took a bite of the hot dog (the inner part of the bun) & may have stuck that hot dog back in the bun or something. I asked my mom if she was sure & she gave me a look like "OMG... I would know if someone took a bite of something. I'm not stupid!" LOL! I asked what she did w/ it then & she said she just threw it away. Oh well.... I didn't have any problems w/ any of the pastries I actually ate so I can't say bad things about this place. But since my mom mentioned this to me, I suggest just to make sure there's nothing sketchy about the ones you buy i guess. Just a thought. =)
