We ate there twice this week because of some events at the Overture and were satisfied with both the food and waitstaff. Greek salad was decent and the turkey sandwich very good. It is really fun to eat at the bar and see the Greek intercom system they have here. It's a dumbwaiter that looks like a dishwasher with the door removed. The food comes up from the kitchen thats in the basement and the dude that passes it out to the waitstaff sticks his head in the dumbwaiter and yells to the cook in the basement what he needs! Really old technology but it has been working here for decades. The two big Greeks who work the bar and service area, who I am sure are named either Gus or Nick, were very pleasant and friendly as were the waitress. This has got to be the oldest place on state street and does show some wear but is clean and fun to eat here.
