  • I keep fish as a hobby and I used to buy fish from this place, both tropical and goldfish (for separate aquariums obviously). Almost always, the fish I buy from this place don't last very long, they live just long enough to exceed the guarantee (5 days) and then die. This has always been the case for Big Als for a couple years that I have been buying and replacing fish from. The fish that actually last are from a store that is SMART about PETS. Fish from there have been living in my aquariums for over a year now (their fish guarantee is 2 weeks). If you want your fish to last, don't buy from here. Oh yes, they are also very overpriced. A simple aquarium light costs $26 whereas in other stores it's only about $4.
