  • * R = Receptionist R " I'm sorry but I don't have double beds for both rooms that you requested, but I do have 1 room with a king size bed and a sofa bed, and another room with 1 king bed and I could sent a rollaway bed for you." us " OK " we walked towards the elevator and the receptionist called me "Miss, come here" me "yes?" R " I think there might be someone occupying your room. I just got a message here and I am not sure if there really is someone in there. The record is not in the system. " me in a what-the-heck confusion " you mean you don't have records on which room has guests and which are empty?" R " I will call the room to check on it. " after a while... R " it seems that there is no answer in the room. You could go try going up and see if there's anyone there, if it's vacant, it's all yours. if's someone is occupying the room, come back down and I will give you another room." me, thinking, what??? how dare he asked us to check the room ourselves? what kind of service they give in this supposedly 4 stars hotel? we went up anyway and knocked on the door, not knowing what to say if the guy inside opened the door. nobody answer it. we decided to use the key that R guy gave us earlier. we opened it and there it is.... luggage laying on the floor. we went down and told the R " Someone is IN THERE!" R " OK, I'll assign another room for you" my bro " so, is this a 4 stars hotel?" R, proudly said "Yes it is." me bro " then how come the service is bad?" R kept quiet. and that's not all, they give us a really thin mattress for the rollaway, and another rollaway has spring coming out of the mattress (we didn't get the room with the sofa bed) and the next day, they forgot to put towels in the room during house cleaning, and we requested for it before we went out. When we came back, the towels are thrown all over the bed. from this, I think you would agree with me that they don't deserve even 1 star... maybe 1/2 star is enough but there is not that option for me =)
