  • We used Two of a Kind Limousines for our wedding in July 2012. Of all the wedding vendors we dealt with on our wedding day, we were most disappointed with their services. The core of our complaint is that the limousine had a malfunctioning air-conditioning system. For instance, our ride from our get-ready hotel to our church was literally 10 minutes long yet I arrived at the church hot, agitated and annoyed because the limousine driver decided to shut off the air conditioning prematurely. When we first loaded into the limousine, it was fine but then it became progressively weaker. I am absolutely certain that this was not due to the fact that the cooled air was being shared among a group of people because we tested the air vents by placing our hands/feet against it and it was completely shut off. Sitting near the driver, I made a comment about there being no air conditioning yet he still insisted that it was fully operational. You can imagine that it was such a sad sight as the bride had to keep her arm in the driver compartment in the front just to keep slightly cool. Imagine a wedding in July with a huge wedding gown and being shuttled with no air conditioning. Upon arrival at church, the limousine driver came back to our sitting area and unapologetically insisted that someone had played with the buttons and therefore shut off the air conditioning. This was certainly not the case as only after adjusting the buttons did we feel incrementally better. And just to top things off, the limousine driver was poorly dressed like a slob with no uniform hat (as promised on the company website) and he sported a very negative attitude...but honestly, this was the least of his problems. I contacted Two of a Kind Limousines shortly after our wedding to provide my honest feedback and seek some sort of a remedy to our horrendous ordeal. I expressed to them that Two of a Kind Limousines was a profound disappointment and failed to deliver what it had promised on our wedding day. On what was supposed to be a happy and carefree day, there was instead a sweltering and annoyed bride resorting to repeated complaints to get her limousine driver to do the bare minimum of his job. My husband and I paid $847.50 for 8 hours of disgusting service. Frankly, we feel like we were robbed blind. Unfortunately, Two of a Kind Limousines does not value quality customer service. This was their response to my email: "We are very sorry that you did not have a good experience with your limousine. Our limousines are inspected the day before & also the day of by our driver & mechanics. As for the driver being rude we do apologize. This is the first complaint we have received regarding the service that he provides. The air conditioning was working when the driver left the office as you are also aware of this but it is out of our control when a mechanical issue arises. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to rectify this and will forward this email to our driver with your comments." I provided a rebuttal to their email as firstly, their limousine was not inspected prior to our wedding day as through passive conversations with our DJ and florist in the days leading up to the wedding, they were quick to point out that Two of a Kind Limousines was renowned for having malfunctioning air conditioning systems in their limousines. Secondly, the company lied about my complaint being the first against the driver because in small talk on our wedding day, we found out that he wasn't even their usual limousine driver but a bus driver who was simply filling in as a favour! After that email pointing out the discrepancies in their reply, that was the last I heard of them. No offer of a remedy or solution to appease the experience. Just a hit-and-run experience. Please stay away from this company! I do not recommend this company as they do not value their customers nor their words. I have filed a complaint against them through the Better Business Bureau and am still seeking a satisfactory remedy in the form of at least a partial reimbursement.
