  • What's not to love about wedding dress shopping in Yorkville? I went here with my sisters and mom today to help my sister pick a wedding dress (shout outs to Danielle M.) It was her first appointment, so she wasn't sure what she wanted exactly - but the consultant was so friendly and great at pulling dresses (plus belts and veils) that fit her style. When you first wallk in, you're surrounded by racks of sample dresses. After discussing styles and budget, we were shown dresses by some lovely designers (ie. Amy Michelson, Anne Barge, Nicole Miller, Jenny Yo, Carolina Herrera, Reem Acra Bridal, etc. ) For an hour appointment, you can choose about six dresses. They recommend choosing three dresses of the style you want and three other dress styles to compare. The fitting rooms are private and quite large with plenty of room for about 3-5 people. The environment was very nice and relaxing and my sister felt no pressure to buy or make a decision. They also carry bridesmaids dresses on the third floor of the shop.
