  • Really cool place that apparently has been under my nose for about a year. My wife and I were at the festival in cornelius walking around. Well we were going to start with a beer when we got there but you needed cash to buy beer tickets. (WHO CARRIES CASH ANYMORE) so we decided to walk across the street because there was another location selling beer that took cards. So on our walk over stumbled up the OLD TOWN Public House. My wife asked me if this would do for a beer and i said yea. We went in and were greeted a really nice space of dark wood galvanized pipe fixtures and exposed Brick and couches. it was just a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. They had a three door cooler with a nice bottle selection and a few of their kegs in reserve. I went for a the cooler and grabbed something from Devils Backbone and my wife had a glass of wine. They had a pretty extensive wine collection. We got to talking to the bartenders really nice and very knowledgeable about the wine and beer. They have a band almost every night as well, this place has is now on our list of beer places to check out and relax at.
