rev:text	Just last week I rented a unit here because they advertised air conditioned units. The air conditioning blasts nice and cold but that is the only good thing about this complex. The manager, Melanie, is extremely rude and unhelpful. The day after I rented my unit, I noticed the security gates were not locking closed. I went past the units about three times each day for the first two days and the exit gate was always opened. I called and left several messages to resolve the issue. "Jeffrey" called me back and left a voicemail stating that the problem was fixed. I returned the following day to check it out for myself and realized it was still broken. I called and left several more messages but never heard back. I discovered that the security codes to not only enter the gates, but also the facility itself were irrelevant as any random 3 digits between hitting the * and the # keys would let you in. I informed the assistant manager of this problem. She told me that there were no notes taken of my previous complaints and that she could not issue me a refund. She went on to tell me how this particular unit was recently broken into but no alarms were tripped. This further supports how broken the security is here. The thief, according to the assistant manager, was only have a block away selling some poor tenants property to passing cars. The staff was unable to identify the man which indicates the security cameras are more of a live feed and not actually recording. Instead, the tenant recognized his property. After trying to get ahold of the manager, Melanie, for over a week, she finally called back after I spoke to someone at the corporate office. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She went so far as to hang up the phone during our conversation. When I called back and made the remark that "we must have been disconnected," she stated, "no, I just don't want to deal with you, I hung up." I was completely baffled. I ended up speaking with the corporate staff again who has ensured me a full refund is being issued. Despite paying in cash, they are issuing a check which will take "up to 8 weeks to receive." I strongly suggest you DO NOT rent a storage unit from this company, especially this location!!
