  • A large group of us stayed here during a football game weekend and everyone was pretty pleased with the accomodations. The beds were comfortable and had an abundance of pillows. The TVs could use updating as could the arm chair in our room (ick, it was from 1975). One of our rooms had a fridge/microwave while the other did not. Maybe you have to request it? They had a shuttle bus which picked us up on campus (even in the wee hours of the morning) and drove us back to the hotel, which was really great. Only problem is that it was $7 a person, which could get you half way to Chicago based on Champaign taxi prices. But alas, it wasn't a nasty old cab but a nice bus instead. Those who ate breakfast said it was pretty good and had a nice variety of hot and cold choices.
