I stayed at Super 8 for three days. First night I was put in room 202, a dark room in the back of the hotel with 1 non working light and a window view of a solid brick wall. The room seemed fairly clean. Air conditioner worked well, the bed was soft but I could feel every spring in the mattress. I called the front desk 3 or 4 times for a light bulb and was given a string of excuses and no one ever brought a light bulb.
2nd night they upgraded me to a double queen room 205 in the front with another non working light and phone. They sent a maintenance guy up to fix the phone and light but it was taking so long to fix I left the room for lunch before he could come back with a new phone and the light still didn't work. Internet access was poor. I spent an entire day trying to get internet access--no luck. Noise level was high due to the loud music from the nightclub on the right and the wedding chapel on the left.
Will I stay again? Probably not. Would I recommend the hotel? Probably not unless you're on a shoestring budget looking for a cheap place to lay your head. There was a 7.99 deposit/resort fee, cable tv, easy parking, and friendly staff.
