  • Like many others, I was excited to come here for the frozen hot chocolate. I loved the theme they have going on, their decorations and I even thought their way-over-sized menus were cool. The service started off really well. We were seated immediately and our server was very friendly and peppy. I think she knew it was our first time so she helped to hype things up for us. However, the service slowly went downhill as she failed to check on us. We had to get her attention and not the other way around. I know it got busy while we were there and maybe she had a few too many tables to wait on but it took forever to get her to come back to the table and also took forever for her to give us our bill. I had the Peanut Butter Frozen Hot Chocolate which was really yummy but deceiving. The portion looks huge and comes in a large glass bowl but there was seriously more whipped cream than hot chocolate in the serving. It was also a little pricey-a little over $10. It would be worth it if I had gotten more frozen hot chocolate than whipped cream. My friend had the frozen hot chocolate as well and noticed the same thing-way too much whipped cream. She also ordered the chili, which in my opinion was very good but also very spicy. She didn't enjoy it at all and barely touched it because of the spiciness. Nowhere on the menu did it mention that the chili was spicy. Again, deceiving. Even though the chili was good, the menu should have specified that it's spicy because not all patrons enjoy spicy food. We complained to our server and she did have it taken off the bill. I would definitely return to Serendipity and try other things on their menu. I would also ask for light whipped cream, or maybe hold the whipped cream altogether just to see if they will give more frozen hot chocolate that way. Maybe our server had an off day which is why service turned out to be slow, who knows? I think they're worth the second chance. Frozen Hot Chocolate: 4/5 Very delicious but too much whipped cream and not enough frozen hot chocolate. Customer Service: 3/5 Started off well but ended up being really slow. They earned extra point for removing a food item from our bill. Price: 3/5 We paid for more than what we got. Location: 5/5 Who doesn't want a nice view of Caesars Palace and the Las Vegas Strip while sipping on frozen hot chocolate?!
