i've been to exotic pets three times. the first time i was greeted my a smell of musk. as i walked on i saw a dead newt floating in the bottom row of tanks. i know pet stores have crickets hopping around but this was extreme. the spider webs are out of controls. i was so worried about a random spider biting my foot. the store is really dusty for some reason, also small and tight for a pet store. when i did buy animals they were 4 frogs (whites tree frogs/ green tree frogs) and a marble salamander. both of the whites tree frogs died on me after a week and a half.
today was the last day i will ever go back. the smell was waiting for me as i walked in. i've been hitting up a lot of pet stores just to see what they have and this place is over priced ( LLL reptiles is about $10-$20 cheaper.) no one welcomed me. i walked on to the spiders (kind of want one) the enclosure they keep the spiders in looks like the employees are to scared to clean or even look at them. i'm tired of stores just selling animals and not caring about the health of them or even the advice they give the customer. not the place i will ever go to again.
P.S. god damn fix that smell.
