  • Horrible. Made an online appointment for 11am for state inspection. When I dropped off the car the guy told me I will more than likely need new tires. Had to explain to the guy 4 times that I will replace the tires ONLY if needs to pass inspection. He kept pressing for me to get new tires. I received a call at 7pm that they "didn't have time to get to my car and would it be alright if they kept it overnight?". I cancelled, picked up the car, a week later took it to the dealership for state inspection. Took 1.5 hours to get it done and guess what??? Didn't need new tires! I asked when I may need them, was told in about 6 months but they easily passed the inspection. Perhaps this Pep Boys needs to focus more of their time on actually performing the work that was scheduled rather than focusing their time upselling clients.
