  • Update 8/2017: They're seriously the worst company I have ever leased from. The AC issue? We got charged $75 for a guy to come and say nothing was wrong. My husband called them to dispute the charge, after leaving several messages we finally got a call back a week later saying they would credit us back the $75 (this was over a week ago and still no credit, btw). We had a huge monsoon last week that left our fences trashed. Waypoint was supposed to send someone out today between 12pm and 5pm to fix it. No one came by. My husband left work early in order to be home to let someone into our back gate (we've been almost broken info several times so we keep our gates chained up when we are not home). He just called them to see what's going on, they told us someone came by between 8am and 12pm. Funny thing is that I was home from 7:30am on so that's a blatant lie. If you are considering leasing from this company, again, do yourself a favor--JUST DON'T. ---------------------------------- Do yourself a favor and never rent from Waypoint homes. Our 2 year lease will be up in a few months and we cannot wait! We moved into one of their homes because they allow 3 dogs. The interior of the house itself is relatively nice, but it is in a very sketchy neighborhood (we didn't realize how bad it was until after we moved), we've been almost broken into several times but management does not care and will not let us install a security door. Our back door did not lock and it took weeks for someone to come and replace it, despite us telling them we've almost had a couple of break ins WHILE WE WERE HOME. If anything breaks, good luck getting a hold of anyone local, let alone getting it fixed. They only have a 800 number to call in order to put in any work orders. Our first month here a pipe broke and was leaking into the wall and flooding our garage with several inches of water. It took them almost a week to come out and fix that. Now, during the 120 degree heat wave we have going on and our AC is broken. When my husband calls to let them know, we get some lady in Georgia saying it's working fine since it's keeping it 30 degrees cooler than the outside temp. Um, what? This is an AC unit, not a swamp cooler. Still waiting to hear back from someone...
