rev:text	I went to Spa Envy recently with a friend for a massage, manicure and pedicure. My friend was treating me for my birthday, so I was looking forward to a relaxing morning. The massage was great. No complaints on the massage. I loved it. The manicure and pedicure, however, were the worst I've ever gotten. Annie, the girl who did both, was very sweet and very nice to talk to. But she didn't really know what she was doing. It took her over an hour to do my pedicure and another hour to do my manicure. The paint job on my toes was bad--but I realized that was only the beginning. When we sat down to do my manicure, she looked at me and said, "This is my first manicure." She even had a sheet telling her the order in which to do things. I was slightly astounded. I thought the paint job on my toes was bad, but my nails looked awful. She put the polish on so thick, they didn't dry for almost 45 minutes. So they got smudged before I even walked out the door. I had to go to another place to get a polish change the same day just so I wouldn't look like someone had painted my nails in the dark. Like I said, Annie was so sweet and I think with some more experience and a little education, she'll be fine. And this was a birthday present to me, so I didn't have to pay for this, but I do feel bad for people who have to pay full price for the kind of experience I had. This is a very nice salon/spa. I feel like having a place this nice and classy they should have stylists who have a bit more experience and knowledge.
