I was so nervous about the mixed reviews after booking this hotel but we were pretty pleased overall.
First off, this hotel and casino is located off the strip. I wouldn't suggest walking to the strip bc of the ridiculous heat but the Strip is a cheap Lyft drive away. We stayed for 5 nights and received great rates through Hotels.Com. Checking in wasn't until 4pm and the line was long but thankfully it moved quickly. We were upgraded to a poolside view but got 2 queen beds instead of a king. Our room was in the Paradise tower and elevators do not function without a room card for security reasons.
The room we got was clean and spacious. No fridge and a walk in shower which I personally despise but not the end of the world. They have a little area that has some items you might need for your stay . Don't touch as there is a sensor and if moved, your credit card will be charged!
AC worked like a charm bc the room was freezing!
There are plenty of restaurants and shops downstairs for your convenience. And of course the casino. I didn't care much for the smoking but anything goes in Vegas! Also the Magic Mike Live show is held here too. They also have a huge club at the pool called "Rehab". That was apparently the place to be as there was 3 days of scheduled concerts . So lots of Young guys and gals milling about the casino in their scantily clad beach wear .
If you want a quiet , peaceful stay I don't know if this is the resort for you. We heard the concert at the pool from outside so if that stuff bothers you, you definitely wouldn't be happy. I would suggest checking upcoming events before booking maybe?
I do recommend walking around the casino and looking at all the rock and roll memorabilia displayed for your enjoyment from music greats from the past and present . Fascinating stuff!
Overall, decent place to stay for us. No issues for the most part. Also parking here is free and self park . But there is an Uber/ Lyft pickup area near the Paradise tower for your convenience. Also the hotel will hold your luggage at the bell hop stand if you check out and have a late flight.
