  • Now called The Spot. Terrible place. I had "dip" done twice then a third time by a girl that was sloppy & complained the whole time. I ended up going back & asking her to touch them up-because the nail was barely covered-gaps on the edges & no polish to the nail bed. They grew out terribly. The time prior, I had Helen do them-she was really good, so today I had booked an appointment for 10AM. I called Friday & told them I wanted "dip", got there-no Helen, "she's on her way"; she arrived about 1025AM. However when I got there, 2 technicians (one being the girl that messed up the previous time); said that Helen wasn't doing dip-so I am confused, trying to ask....nobody speaks fluent enough English & pretty much ignores me. Well, I wait & Helen arrives to tell me she is no longer "allowed" to do "dip" because the manager said so. Great-I completely wasted 45 minutes!! I could have been at another salon getting them done! I left-pissed off, this was now the second chance I had given this joint. See-when they were "Fashion Nail"; I got terrible "dip" outcome & they peeled...by guess who? The sloppy girl. I gave them the second chance-when it became The Spot. Three "dip" the second chance; only one of them superior-and that was by Helen who is no longer to do "dip". You just lost my business. I went to King Lady down the street who is clearly better, 15 customers in there-while The Spot had 2 & the techs are never there when the players e opens. I have wasted enough time. I was only going there because of the wide-selection of "dip" colors, but no more!!!
