I love Bikram yoga, I have been practicing it on and off for 15 yrs now.
Yes there is carpet, because you would slip on sweat otherwise. Yes, sweat smells sometimes.
If you can get over being perfectly clean and sweat free during your workout you will love Bikram. I always feel so accomplished when I make it through a 90 min class. You learn to quiet the mind while being physically uncomfortable. The focus and balance carries with you into daily life.
