A last-minute change of plans transformed our girls night in to an out. We did not want to wait in a very long line for the cold temperatures but thought we had no options until the owner of La Paz walked by on the sidewalk beckoning all of us to join her and her restaurant. She is the sweetest kindest loyal restaurant owner that I have ever met. The restaurant struggles to keep alive a beautiful memory. If you go, it's a must that you ask her about it.
The food was good, the drinks were ok and the service was slow to start, but the staff was so friendly and inviting that they seemed out of place in such cold and unwelcome company as the other venues nearby seem to be on the surface. I felt like family over for dinner and it was exactly what I needed.
