This is an interesting little donut shop. When you walk in the entire bakery and cashier section is behind a clear plexi-glass that I wouldn't be surprised to hear is bullet proof. This closes off a lot of the space and can make the section you stand in to order feel very cramped. However, off to the left they have three, four person booths that you can sit down in after you order.
The parking lot is also very cramped! There was a lot of construction on the roads when I went but even without that it probably could only hold 15 cars. Despite this, the owners are very sweet! I came in really late on national donut day after being turned away from two other closed shops. It was like 3:30pm. They greeted me as I walked in and served me promptly with a smile.
I ordered a simple chocolate bar donut with a box of milk. The dream! For it being so late in the afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised that my donut tasted fresh and soft! I'm fact it was significantly better than the same style of donut from any national chain I have tried. If I lived close enough I'd be back to this shop all the time! As it stands, if I'm ever on this side of town again I'll make sure to drop by.
