  • I had these folks do my patio and a walkway, about 700 sf. Just a couple of points. First, he advertises a low price per sf, but don't think that's what you'll pay. There will be additional costs, such as grading and other materials. I'm guessing that's normal, but just be aware. In my case, I did pay for additional grading, but one corner of the job was not properly graded. In that corner, there is a very quick rise of about 7 inches. That should have been leveled, but it wasn't. I noticed it when I put patio furniture in that area, and the chairs all stood on 3 legs. Ok, no problem, I'll just ask Mike to come by and tell me if anything can be done to correct the situation. He agreed to come the following week, but never showed up. I asked when he will come, and he said he won't. Really a shame, because it would probably have taken just a couple hours of his crew's time to correct, and I would have given him 5 stars. The rest of the job was well done, and the price was still under my other bids, even with the extras.
