| - I have told everyone that I know not to do business with these people, and it's solely based on their terrible customer service and policies.
I used to take my truck into this place to get serviced/fixed, until I realized they were charging me DOUBLE what it costs to get it fixed elsewhere. They wanted to charge me $4100 to replace my rear differential, when all it need was a part within the rear differential to be replaced. Got it done for $1800 elsewhere and never looked back. After doing research it's because they will ALWAYS suggest completely replacing parts instead of trying to fix them. This is because it's faster for the mechanics to do this, thus they have to pay them less and charge the customer MORE. Nice policy. Good for losing business. Lesson learned.
On top of this, they WILL NOT stop calling me to try to come in a trade my truck in. I've told each person that has called me to stop calling me and that I have 0 interest in doing business with them. Despite that, I get a call about once a week. I'm actually hoping that someone there will see this review and take my name off the list, because the next time I get a call it's not going to be pretty (and that's putting it lightly). I have a lot of patience, but Sands has pushed me over the edge. I have told everyone who has asked me about my truck, or getting things fixed to avoid any dealer and specifically Sands Chevrolet.
Don't go there, ever. If you're reading this review and work at Sands, get out now. Find a new place to work ASAP...because you'll probably be out of a job soon when they go out of business.
