| - Lets get down to it.
Size: much bigger than you would realize from outside. Some people feel it is too cramped, and in some cases I would agree. If you are into power lifting, i.e. deadlift, hang cleans, snatches, etc. then this place is not for you, but you can get a solid work out in.
You will find a lot of machines and not many free weights, but a good amount of dumbbells, but space is limited for bench press and squats (only two racks). There is more than enough cardio equipment to keep the majority of people happy, and even when busy there you typically can find something.
I have always hated these types of gyms, clean, no free weights, etc, but I like this place, then again I can no longer power lift due to joint issues, but that is a whole other story. The staff is friendly and most of the other gym goers are courteous.
I think the price is fair, and it they don't want credit or checking account info like the big corporate gyms... Speaking of the big corporate gyms, this place seems like that. You know the place where people go after work so their friends and neighbors can see them there but they don'r really work out and just take up space, but FF is not that place. Everyone who is there is there to work out, some in better shape than others, but everyone is striving for one common goal, to be healthy!
