| - What's a tired-from-work Vegan couple supposed to do when it's 11:30pm & we've got a hankering for Thai food? All the usual haunts are long closed, and the options are getting more limited by the minute...
Well, on a whim, we ordered a few things here (open until 3 & vegan options - don't bother looking for them on the menu, they aren't there, lol) & were pleasantly surprised!
The pad-see-ew tofu (vegan, no egg, no fish sauce) was seriously the best I've had in *YEARS*. Like, damn. It doesn't get better.
The pad thai (vegan, no fish sauce, no added veggies- that seemed weird to us) is not at all spicy, but was quite good nonetheless.
The fresh spring rolls (tofu) were unlike ANY other fresh roll I've had to date. Try them! They had some kind of very lightly pickled veg mix inside, which sounds gross, but they were really quite good. Very unique, but a nice change of pace.
The phone order went really smoothly, my order was done in 10-15min, and they had an understanding of their veganizing abilities, which is always a plus. I would love to go back on a date, as it really is a cute place with ambiance & the wine options are tempting.
I will agree that the portions are really stupid small, guess they are trying to keep it upscale. But I'm still hungry. *sob*
