| - Although Air Canada attracts a lot of criticism, one area where it excels is its airport lounges. The MLL's are all generally very decent options, especially compared to fellow North American airline lounges (United Club, I'm looking at you). The MLL for YYZ's International departures is particularly nice, with a very lofty feel. However, all three MLL's at YYZ manage to cover all the basics: Wi-fi, shower and business facilities, free alcohol, and substantial food.
Beers are on tap, and a variety of wines and liquors are available for self-service. In addition, depending on the time of day, various hot food items and snacks are offered (soups, pastas, hummus/chips, pastries, etc.)
There's generally plenty of comfortable seating, although it can get crowded at times (and if it does, the Plaza Premium lounges are generally much less busy and a decent alternative). Especially since the new restaurants/bars with iPads have reduced seating by gates, the MLL makes a very good place to relax and catch up before your flight.
