There is just so much to see - history, eating, dining, shopping.
Walking around Jacques Cartier place this is pretty much the touristy hot spot of Montreal yet it has such a great charm and vibe you won't mind being a tourist yourself. Old world mixed in with some modern amenities.
This area is a terrific spot to stroll the cobblestone streets or wander blissfully along the riverside and take in the sights.
More than enough to spend a day or two taking in the historical buildings, plenty of cafes to grab a bite, bars to enjoy a libation, and some street performers always doing something fun to watch.
We walked around here for days and never got tired of it. Even just to take a seat at an outdoor bistro to people watch and see the world walk by.
