  • Shiki is by far my favorite hibachi place in Charlotte. I'm not a fan of the dinner shows put on at most hibachi style restaurants (not worth the money, in my opinion) so Shiki is an excellent alternative for when I'm craving hibachi food but don't want to spend an exorbitant amount. My fiance and I ALWAYS share the Shiki for Two meal. It is by far the best deal, particularly when you are on a budget. The first time we ordered it, our waitress brought out a large plate full of rice, veggies, chicken, shrimp, and scallops (as well as two salads and soups). We were impressed with the amount. Then she brought out ANOTHER huge plate full. Yes, that's two for about $18. My fiance and I easily get two meals each out of our Shiki deal. And it is SO GOOD! A note on their sushi: it isn't the best or the worst I've ever had but it definitely hits the spot if you want a roll or two to go with your already ginormous meal. Also, if you eat in the restaurant the service is not the greatest in the world. The restaurant itself is a little sticky, older, and dark. But that never seems to bother me as I am only spending $18 on a total of about 4 meals!
