  • I am from Chicago and this place is just ok. There is a high school nearby so as my 20 yr old daughter and I sat there quite a few students came in after school. Almost every one of the students ordered the cheese fries. My daughter had the hot dog and I had the chicken sandwich. My daughter said her hot dog was ok. My chicken sandwich had some kind of sauce on it. I think it might've been thousand island salad dressing. Eww. My daughter and I shared an order of cheese fries. Not that this place was bad, it just wasn't impressive. I will definitely go to Portillos if I want authentic Chicago style food.
