  • I've been there twice now and Steve's wife Nellie cuts my hair, one chair over from Steve. I get the scissor and clipper conservative look. Besides a great cut she treats me like royalty. I walk out looking and feeling much better than other places I've been to. Steve has always come across as a nice guy in my presence and conversationally, as has their son who is one of the two 20 somethings who do the great "custom pro cuts" I guess you'd call them. It's a fine family business that serves you far better for a tad more money than the franchised chop shops. Even though appointments aren't necessary, I always call Nellie and ask for one.
