  • As a kid, my family and I would make an annual trip to pick apples from our local apple orchard. Although it has been years since my last trip, I was somewhat disappointed with my experience at Eplegaarden. The overall location was extremely close to downtown Madison, but the selection of apples was quite limited. Although it seems as though there are rows and rows of apples, most of them were the same two or three types. This may have been because we went a little early in the season, but even then, many of the trees seemed quite picked over. Also, make sure to bring cash or check because they do not accept debit or credit cards!
