Just returned from a Vegas trip and actually stayed at the Cosmopolitan for the first time after playing here for several years.
I was lucky enough to have a comped room which allowed me to use the invited guests line. The regular line was so long I would have been frustrated to use that line. They don't have online check in yet like some hotels on the strip.
I 'LOVED' the layout of the room! Almost like a mini suite with a short wall dividing a type of a living room / then bedroom. Each with it's own TV. The iPad info center in the room was also nice.
And the balcony - I could have just relaxed out there for hours. The weather just happened to be perfect when were there so that helped. We had a view overlooking the pools and south strip. Beautiful.
The bed was pretty comfortable and having your own fridge in addition to the honor fridge was super nice.
The spa tub - holy cow - amazing! Completely different than your normal 6-8 jetted tub. This had tiny jets around the entire bottom of the tub. So relaxing!
The casino keeps getting better in my opinion - maybe because I had a nice hand pay this trip? Still think their table mins are too high.
What I didn't care for which keeps it from being 5 stars. I didn't care for the overly seductive portrayal of women in the rooms. I know that's all subjective and personal taste, but I didn't care for it.
The TV check out didn't work so we visited the front desk (again thank you for the invited guest check in) to check out. I then found out they send an email stating I could checkout online, but I don't access that email on my phone so I didn't see it.
Overall, I would totally stay here again as long as the rooms are comped. I've been going to Vegas 2-4 times a year for over 10 years now and have a rule against paying for rooms when I can get comped at any number of casino's. Yes I know it sounds like I'm bragging, but it's true!
