| - Not impressed.
American Airlines can take their $25 per bag each way bag charge and shove it.
I'm not flying this airline again. I luv SWA!
When checking in, the automated kiosks were down. Some sort of computer glitch. When we got to the check-in desk, the lady didn't give us our required documents. Instead of giving us boarding passes, she merely issued us receipts for the flight. Great. I asked the lady at the check-in counter to kindly staple my travel documents together, instead of handing me a wad of loose papers. She said that she couldn't. I eyed her stapler sitting right in front of her, and asked her if she could staple on the part that says, "Staple Here." She said that she couldn't. I asked again, more firmly, insinuating that I was willing to make a scene to get her to staple them together. With an eye-roll that would make any teenager proud, and a sigh of complete and utter exasperation, she spared me a single staple, acting pained to do so. Even though she was handing us the wrong flight documents, neglecting to give us boarding passes. Fortunately, at the gate, they caught their mistake, and handed them to us.
On the flight, we got no peanuts. No snacks. The seats were so jammed packed together, that my knees felt like they were jammed up into my rib cage.
Watching the baggage handlers out the window of the plane, I could see what complete apathy was. They were tossing bags like they were training for the JV Special Olympics. Fragile? Nah. Toss it.
I hate flying American Airlines. I will do whatever is in my power to avoid these guys.
