I would say this Smith's is great. The prices are good with a rewards card. They have lots of self checkouts, which means less lines.
I have scored some major deals here. Like $.99 organic kale bunches and they are quite large. Barely fits into a plastic bag. You can get a loaf of white bread here for 80 something cents. And normally they have good deals in the meat department too. Like Alaskan king crab and salmon are on sale a lot.
Now for the downsides. The prices seem like they are mislabeled a lot. Sometimes that's a good thing. Sometimes it's bad. For example, the other day I went to buy soda and it was labeled at $.88. Take it to the checkout and it rang up twice the price. Today when I went and I got bottled water. It was priced at $3.30+ then rang up $2.50. So you just never know what to expect.
They are opened 24 hrs a day, which makes it real nice to shop at any time of the day. Once they get into the late night hours they use power saving features in the store like turning off the lights in the display cases. Makes it harder to see what you want but I bet it's a lot better for the environment. so kudos to you smith's!
Here's a tip: the handheld baskets are stacked behind a sign next to the self checkouts stands. Unless you know where they are at they are difficult to find.
