  • Went here last night to catch the new Furious 7. I haven't been to the movies in awhile and was really looking forward to going. This theater is horrible. The upstairs concession stand areas are way too cramped and disorganized. When this place is packed with a new hit movie you have to side-step between people either to get your popcorn, drink or candy because most people wanna sit there and stare at things for 10 minutes before finally figuring out what they want. Inside the movie theater itself, it smelled like feet. Straight up, dirty socks. Nasty. Beyond that, the audio SUCKS. The whole time I was watching the movie I had to concentrate on reading lips to make sure I was understanding what was being said. And, if there was a funny moment in the movie where the entire audience laughed, good luck hearing the rest of the dialogue because it wasn't happening over the laughter. I was counting around the theater and there must have been at least 20+ speakers hanging up on the side walls. So, why does the volume and sound suck so bad? C'mon, Sam Town - get it together. Overall, I will never return here again. Waste of money for an experience you're not getting at all. Take the few minutes outta the way to drive to the Cannery and watch a movie in style. Sam's Town is a joke.
