  • I don't even know where to begin...so I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding. Myself and about 5 other ladies. We go to Azteca Bridal earlier this year to check out and pick our dresses. This went smoothly enough. The wedding date was set for June 16th. I and the other ladies ordered our dresses in the middle of April. This created a problem because it was so close to the June wedding date. Because of this, we had to pay extra for a rush job and us fluffy girls had to pay extra for the plus size dresses. I understood perfectly the upcharges. So, I order my dress in April and am told that the dress would take 5 weeks to get in. That would put it like in the middle of May for delivery. May comes and goes without a word or update regarding the dresses from the bridal shop. Finally at the beginning of June, I call them. I'm told the dresses would be in on June 8th or 11th. The dresses did not come in until June 13th, 3 days before the wedding!! Ok...so we may need alterations done and would need to get them done within 3 days. Do they provide a seamstress? No!! The seamstress they employ is in Mesa doing some event. We would have to go out of our way to try to find her in Mesa and pay an extra $45-60 for alterations all within 3 days!! The only discount we received for this ridiculous job was $10 off of our remaining balances on the dresses! Oh...also when the maid of honor went to find her dress, she found 1 off their rack, tried it on and loved it, just to be told that it had actually been discontinued!! So why in the hell is it still in the store if it's discontinued???!!!! Needless to say, I will never EVER use Azteca Bridal for my own wedding and if I ever hear anyone say they're planning to get their dresses through them, I will do my damndest to talk them out of it!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from Azteca Bridal!!
