  • 5 Stars!!! Phew this review is LONG over due. I was so suprised by my entire experience with this company that I've decided to write this review in a 'new-for-me' short story format; I will include as many amazing details from start to finish, I want to explain just how good this business experience made me feel... and most importantly how much time and money other computer owners can also save, by keeping this Business on speed dial. About a month ago I was binge watching old Sex and the City episodes... And in one Carrie crashes her computer, gets a virus and has to deal with that huge hassle of finding someone reputable to fix it, someone who will fix it quickly and NOT take advantage of you with the price... ---- **Soooo...I was watching this.. Thinking, "Man, I remember when I used to get viruses.. Ha! I haven't had a virus or a crash in like 10 years!! And I even use a PC... Man I'm so good....". Then, no joke- that evil voice we all have, creeps into my head and as I'm fighting with myself to push these awful thoughts out of my head...One slips through and I hear this evil inner voice quip, "Watch, now that you brought this up... Wouldn't that be SOMETHING, if your computer crassh.....!?" "Shut UPPPP!!" I interject with my inner angel voice, that we all have...And I force myself to put this stressful and painful thought out of my mind. Well.... About 1 week after this incident I had with my self(s)... I am sitting down in my office.. Looking at my beautiful touch screen Sony vaio laptop... And I'm sure we can guess what soon after most like will start this dreadful story...The one and only...WINDOWS UPDATE... 'Your computer will restart in 14:53...14:52.. 14:51.' "Wait!!!" I shout.. [there has to be a way I can post-pone this right?!] ... I start feverishly reading the rest of my article about Taylor Swift and as I read... I read my two options to click... RESTART NOW. or HIDE. [I recall usually seeing a 'postpone' box..But this day I have no such luck].... Anyways, now having hidden this message.. A few short...Screen turns blue... And I'm like great... What am I going to do NOWWW??? -I precede to subconsciously stare at my computer screen thinking I am going to wait this out...and this update is still not even a third of the way through to its restart after 15 minutes, so I hesitantly turn off the lights and conceded that 'Windows update' just reset my bedtime hours earlier than normal. --Next morning... My Sony vaio is light black... Stuck on this awful 'black/ gray' screen that I've heard the worst rumors about. Apparently, vaios are notorious for this.. And it usually means your computer will need at least a hard reset. ---I frantically decide to google this issue on my phone... While the evil thoughts from a week ago creep into my head. "Did this Windows update really just crash my computer?"... NOOOO. Not possible".... I continue searching google. I find a safety pin... Hard reset the back of my laptop. GREAT! I find a screen and start to follow and upload all my files to I can reset my computer and factory restore it. (The whole time I'm mentally debiting the $250.00 the famed GEEK SQUAD, is going to get from me the following day-- if this doesn't work.) fingers remained crossed... ----Several hours later and too much craziness to type out... My operating system has somehow been erased... Because my factory reset somehow got interrupted and I am literally faced with a shell of a computer. A prop. (I'm now mentally debiting $1500.00 because I'm just going to now have to buy a new computer.). I'm SOL, right???? Thank the computer gods for Ryan and ifix. I google 'Sony vaio repair Las Vegas'..In some last ditched attempt to buy myself some hope for the night' I find ifix and see that Ryan claims to be able to basically fix any and everything for a flat fee of $50.00. (In my mind, I presume this is a 'starting' rate... And beyond that I am at his mercy financially... Due to my obvious extensive knowledge of computer repair and the appropriate costs...;). Ryan and I speak the next day. I am told to drop my computer to his home office, and return within 24 hrs with $50 to pick up my computer, which I'm god will be fixed. I thought this was way too good to be true but was hoping a miracle could happen!!! I was right...To sum up everything that took place... Ryan downloaded a version of Windows 10 to my computer..(boom, my operating system is back)... All of my important files were restored...And all of my programs that I thought were wiped out were installed back on my computer. If anyone has any virus on their computer... I can't stress enough to take it to Ryan at iFix. Ryan was fair, honest, trustworthy, dependable and has expert level knowledge in this field. Thanks so much to iFix for saving my computer and for practicing such GOOD business!!
