| - Favorite brunch I've had in Pittsburgh. Everything about the meal was fantastic.
The decor is gorgeous (see pics), modern and clean with beautiful mosaics. Very well done.
Their coffee is quality, and oh the food, the fooood. I'm still drooling thinking about it. I ordered the bagel bites with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and poached eggs. Now these aren't just any bagels, these have got to be homemade, freshly made bagels. Soft and just a bit chewy. I can honestly say I've never had a bagel like that before. The portion was perfectly sized for me: two mini bagel halves topped with smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, scallions, and a poached egg on each. Delish. And reasonable at $9 without eggs, $11 with them.
My friend ordered the curry chicken popover, which at $8 was truly the standout of the meal. Too bad I don't eat chicken :( :( but I did try a piece of the phyllo dough and a potato and oh my goodness, amazing and unique and would highly recommend. Apparently the chicken was perfectly cooked too. Very, very good size for the price.
We split the oat cakes topped with banana custard, whipped cream, caramelized banana and nuts. Think pancakes but a teensy but heavier and crisper, with a banana nut taste. Very sweet but yummy. $9.
I was a little afraid to try the brunch given the very few comments on yelp about it, but I'm here to say you. should. absolutely. go!!!
