I was here for a fundraising event where haircuts were for a certain price below what they normally charge. Because of this and the amount of people who attended the event, I expected service to not be of "high end" salon quality. This didn't diminish from the experience though, and in fact the quality of the haircut was just as good as the last time I went to a high end salon.
My stylist stated she had the same hair type as me (thick, wavy) and recommended a flattering style. I never know what to get other than a trim, so I let her take over my hair. It turned out great. Wasn't too long and wasn't too short.
Why the 3 stars? During the cut, another stylist kept interrupting and started talking to mine. Not about haircuts but gossip and other chit chat. Ok, yeah hair stylists are talky talk but at a fundraising event where you have people lined up out the door, I expect them to be more professional and efficient. My haircut probably took twice as long than if the stylist was left alone to do her thang.
