My dad has been there for the past two weeks, recovering from surgery. The room is big, private, clean, and quiet. There is a large window that looks down on a garden with fountains. When the window is open the fountains add a relaxing sound. He wears a call button around his neck, and there's also one on the table. My dad is always cold and the blankets are plentiful. There are also semi-private rooms on his floor, but not like you'd see in a hospital. Much more private than that. The physical therapy occurs on the floor below my dad and they just wheel him right down. When he had a doctor appointment, the facility arranged medical transportation to/from. My dad orders all meals from a menu. There aren't a lot of choices each day, but enough that it won't get boring. He doesn't have much of an appetite as he's healing, but all the food has looked good and has been presented well. There is also a dining room where longer-term residents dine, but my dad hasn't gone to it. The nurses and attendants are beyond friendly. I have been really happy with the care my dad has received.
