  • So about 12 months ago I was a bright eyed and bushy tailed, fresh graduate, with large DIY dreams, moving into her first big girl apartment. I was told I could paint the walls in my tiny (just under 600 sq ft) apartment and decided to do an accent wall - because, why not? Fast forward to today: I'm married, I'm moving, and I've got to repaint that wall! Of course I did a dark color so I'm really in for it. I was told to go to sherwin Williams because that is where the apartment complex got the paint and it needed to be the exact shade and brand (yea yea). I had my mind set that this would not be a nice experience but boy was I wrong! Even though I came 20 minutes before close (I don't like to make a habit of doing this but I get off work later than most), T'keya greeted me and in typical millennial fashion, I took my ear buds out to say hi! I told her all about my wall and we laughed and I showed her pictures. She was able to find the exact color I needed and helped me find an option that was in my budget! Amy was also super helpful! Thank you ladies for making this trip much more than I could've imagined!!
