Brought our little brother in because he had a fever. My little brother is 6 years old and obviously scared of the doctor. A nurse named "Jorge" was the one that was going to take my brothers temperature. My little brother was scared of the temperate check and "Jorge" threw a fit and said he wasn't going to take his temperature because my little brother was scared. We said we would help him and he said no. He said "I am not going to take his temperature if he keeps crying" He kept making faces and just made us feel very uncomfortable. He was very condescending to my mother. Even the other nurse was starting at him weird because the way he was speaking to us. He was really rude and just huffing and puffing the whole time. My mom was worried like any other woman would be and he was a straight up fucking asshole the whole time. My mom started crying because she was worried and also because he was just a prick the whole time. Because my little brother was crying, he asked "is your son mentally disabled?" Who the fuck asks that?! Because he was crying and scared? My sister even called him out and said why he was being a douche bag to my mom and that he should find another job if he doesn't have the patience. They sent a female nurse in to help us. Worst experience ever.
This is a hospital. You should be helping people and taking care of patients. Not making them feel uncomfortable and upset. If you don't have the patience to deal with different ages, then don't be a nurse!
