| - So, here's the story - I've never been big on spending a bunch of money on haircuts. I just grew up that way. However, this weekend, I have a formal office party coming up and I need to look presentable and professional. In that, my wife insisted that I find a decent barber and get my hair cut and my beard trimmed and lined up. I typed in some keywords for the Googles and I came across a 4.9 star reviewed, small shop in central Mesa. I decided to pop in and see what warranted these reviews. I sat down and about five minutes later, Gabriela was working on my hair. Because I'm already balding at the young age of 31, we walked through some options outside of just buzzing my whole head. We agreed on an attempt at a faded high and tight. She went to work and it took some WORK indeed. Gabriela spent time trimming my hair and beard, cutting, shaving, lining, etc. She consulted with me throughout and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I'm pleased with the outcome. I expected to spend $60 when all was said and done. When I went to pay, she told me my total was $15!!! So, because of how amazing she was, I paid the $15 and added a $25 tip. I will certainly be back.
