| - I tried this place after hearing good things from my father, and can honestly say that I am glad he recommended it. I didn't have the full service,I just sat at a table near the bar and ordered some of the great happy hour specials they offered. I had a mojito, mango with rum and some mint, which was very fresh and well made the bartenders are very professional looking (one even had the old time mustache). The appetizers range from $4-$6, and there are good ones at all three prices. The Margherita flatbread is an amazing tasting tuscan pizza like creation with great ripe tomato slices, and fresh cheese and basil,it was light and enjoyable. We tried to order the spinach artichoke dip but we were talked out of it by our server who recommended something else (besides the ravioli) so we ordered the shrimp, which came with a great flavored sauce (a bit peppery) and served over a delicious fried eggplant which gives it great texture and another amazing flavor. We also had a small salad that came with a big slice of prosciutto and some greens with a fantastic vinaigrette dressing which I would recommend you try on any of their salads. The overall presentation of the place is great,it's in the Scottsdale Quarter so it's tucked away. Inside its amazing, large shelves encase some fantastic pieces of italian cookware in a rustic manner, and the temple style ceiling that raises to a point in the center of the floor is amazing as well. I would like to try the regular menu,it's quite expensive but I'm sure it's worth it,and the service will make it all worth while for you,I highly recommend you drop by for appetizers at least, they are great priced and well worth it.
