Went here for dinner one night and enjoyed the feel of the restaurant. If you know Mad Mex, think a similar layout with less horror artifacts, more space, and better service.
The host and waiter both were very polite and caring as we went through the menu from drinks (providing thoughtful advice on the sangria) to the dishes. Everything was plated beautifully and more importantly, they taste delicious. They definitely know how to use avocado and vegetables well to pair against the main meats or seafood. If you don't know what to get, fish tacos won't let you down! The portions are large too for which I am thankful for.
Now it is located on Smallman St so it is out of the way, definitely a night life area so weekday dinner is naturally quieter. If you're looking for a nice fancy casual dinner outing, Kaya should be on your list as well!
