  • I hate giving one star because the doctors here are generally decent, so I will give 2. However I have issues with some of their policies and find it funny how UPMC claims to be a pillar for the community, but when a patient who comes to this practice has any outstanding balance, even ones that they are unaware of, they put what they call a "stop service" on your account and even if you pay that balance, they do not "guarantee" they will see you again... and we are talking about $130 over a deductible that I was unaware of. I think in the spirit of upmc claiming to be good sumaritans, if a balance is paid, you should see the patient, especially over such a small amount of money and many years of being good patients and never having a balance. This practice makes all of their affiliates look bad. And compare the $130 to all of the tens of thousands you made seeing my 3 kids. They care more about pennies than patient care. If these doctors are caring people, they should become more aware of their office policies and the condescending manner in which their staff speaks to people.
