| - Okay. First, I am writing this review with my tastebuds and not my eyes.
I am a seafood snob. Hailing from Florida and living in San Diego, seafood is a way of life. Las Vegas, NV...well since it's shipped into the desert it just isn't the same. It's not quite fresh. It doesn't taste great and when you can't even crack the crabs open to retrieve the meat, it ain't because you don't know how to use a crab cracker. The shrimp were small and unimpressive. The cocktail sauce was runny and this place is just getting by on a gimmick.
Yes, there is quite a selection, however, the food is a bit bland, for instance the prime rib. Just not impressive. The sushi was so-so. I did add a star for the dessert and gelato area. The desserts and gelato were quite good, and that was the best part of the meal.
Also, they told us that for our party members who showed late they either had to sit in another section of the restaurant or we'd have to pay a mandatory 15% gratuity on our bill. Ummmm, they screwed themselves since we would've paid 20% either way, but definitely not cool. (We weren't a group. We paid separately on our way in rather than 12 people on one ticket which comprises a group and a mandatory 15% gratuitity. We just sat together.
I'd say take your $43 and go wait in line elsewhere.
