| - Let me start by saying that I was very torn in providing this review. I have used this company before and they were great so I did not hesitate to contact them again for my recent move.
Let me first begin by saying that the movers showed up exactly on time and ready to work, we appreciated that. They also came equipped with tools to assist us in breaking down larger furniture pieces and that was great.
Now on to the bad, and in fact shocking, at the risk of sounding dramatic, there were certain events that occurred that have still left my husband and I shaking our heads at how things went down. Let me start with what happened at 7:30am, I noticed that my basement freezer had been plugged back in, when I went to investigate I noticed that several bottles of our beer had been placed in the bottom of the freezer, I later found the empties hidden under our basement steps. I approached all three movers, I explained that I found the bottles and requested that they not take anymore and that I was fully prepared to offer them water and other drinks throughout the day. We even later went to the local Tim Horton's and bought coffees and breakfast for them which they devoured including the donuts that I had bought for my kids!
I thought the issue with the beer had been resolved, however they continued to take our beer and alcohol throughout the day unbeknownst to us. I kept finding empty beer bottles strewn all over the house and later learned that they had also gotten into our other alcohol, bottles and bottles totally gone! I was sick to my stomach thinking that they were on the road driving like that. My husband and I were busy all day with last minute items, we did not see any of this going on, it was only after we started seeing and collecting all the empty bottles around at both our old and new house that we realized the magnitude of the alcohol they had stolen from us and consumed.
Later I tipped them a minimal amount as I was so disgusted, I was reamed out by the driver for giving so little. I was tempted to raise the issue with him but just wanted them out of my house at that point. They could have killed someone on the road and it would have been my fault even though I did not supply the alcohol, we felt sick to our stomachs thinking of what could have happened....
