Ya know it really saddens me to say this because the Four Queens is our place we have been playing/staying at a couple times a month for over 10 years, but it's literally really become a s*** hole.
We use to bring all our friends and family here as well and in a desperate attempt to NOT have to change tradition we have continued to give chance after chance with no success.
When we checked in Jen the casino host was less then thrilled to help me as I went in to see what rates we could get beings we spend a TON of money there. She really didn't seem to have any time for me and sent me back to the front desk for check in which usually the casino host has always taken care of for us before.
We checked into a deluxe room which is nothing more then an outdated standard small room, so we called to upgrade to nicer suite. When we got to our suite it was very outdated and we felt it was very obvious they didn't care about our wanting a "nicer" room even though we told them we were willing to pay, but this room was bigger then the deluxe room and we had our three children with us and didn't really want to move rooms again so we stayed.
As we were in the room we noticed it wasn't very clean. The bathroom was dirty (floors counters and shower) the coffee table was literally falling apart and looked as though it came from a trashy garage sale. The sofa bed had a label on it warning you NOT to use it so the three little ones had to share the king bed with us, oh and did I mention they put us in a room right above a band that played until 1AM or so in the morning. We didn't know about the band at check in otherwise we would've said something so this was a huge problem for our three children of course.
I'm not really sure what has happened but ever since our VIP casino host Sara left this place has been declining rather quickly and we just learned our manager who took care of us left several months ago as well.
I wouldn't recommend STAYING here at all. Very horrible unfriendly staff.
PLAYING HERE is an all together different experience. The bar tenders have a low turnover and it's great to see them each weekend. They know us, they know what we drink and they take care of us as we do them VERY well.
The pit bosses are very good to us as well as we see the same familiar faces back there often also.
Bottom line casino host and front desk staff are horrible and treat you more as an inconvenience then a guest spending money there and housekeeping well I suppose they hopefully changed our sheets before we got there if that wasn't too much to ask.
